Mrs. Mary Jean Baker is our Children’s Director. We think she’s the best one in the whole city! She loves discipling young lives and has a heart for Jesus. She’s truly amazing and we know your kids will love our children’s program.
Children’s Church is every Sunday during the service time for preschool through 6th grade. Elementary age children can join you for worship in the sanctuary before being dismissed to children’s church. This is a fun learning environment for children to thrive in.
Children’s Choir is on Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 7:30 in the Choir Room for children 1st grade through 6th grade. The children’s choir will periodically sing in the sanctuary during morning worship and special events.
Childcare is provided from newborns to preschoolers every Sunday and Wednesday evening. Our children’s leadership team are all CPR and First-Aid Certified. A background check has been completed and is current on every adult that works with children.
Dave Rolison is our Youth Director and has leadership of our student ministry. Dave has been a long time member of Heckscher Drive and serves with his wife Christy. Dave is also a high school teacher and football coach – a man of many talents.
The main student gathering is on Wednesday evenings after our fellowship meal. The students meet in the Student Building for games and a message that is geared toward speaking truth into their lives and meeting them where they are at.
There are on and off campus activities for the youth as well as yearly camps and conferences. We are a church who heavily invests in young maturing lives.
Our students also participate in other ministries around the church- choir, the praise team, sound room techs, and ushers. Many of the students also have an active role in children’s church. Please see the church events calendar for dates of upcoming events or contact the church office.

All of our Sunday School classes meet on Sunday morning at 9am in the Educational Building. There are a variety of classes for children, students, young adults and mature adults. We have men’s and women’s groups as well as co-ed.
These classes serve a vital role in this church. It’s a place where questions are answered. It’s a place to meet people in a closer setting and develop stronger relationships. This part of church is where learning happens and the walk with Christ is strengthened.
